Introduction

This Privacy Policy explains how ToolsArk ("we", "us") handles information when you visit ToolsArk and use our free browser-based utilities. By using ToolsArk, you agree to this policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.

Browser-based processing

Most live utilities on ToolsArk are designed to process your inputs locally in your browser. For those tools, files, text, and previews typically never leave your device, and we do not upload or store that content on our servers. If a utility requires server-side processing in the future, we will disclose that clearly on the utility page before you use it.

Information we collect

ToolsArk does not require an account. We may collect or process: • Information you voluntarily send when contacting us (such as name, email address, and message content) • Limited technical and usage data through analytics tools described below (for example pages viewed, approximate location derived by the analytics provider, device/browser type, and performance metrics) • Cookie or similar identifiers used for site functionality, theme preference, analytics, or (in the future) advertising We do not sell your personal information.

Cookies

We may use cookies and similar technologies for: • Essential site functionality (for example remembering light/dark theme) • Analytics and product improvement • Future advertising (Google AdSense), if and when ads are enabled You can control cookies through your browser settings. Blocking some cookies may affect site features such as theme persistence.

Analytics

We may use analytics to understand aggregate traffic and improve ToolsArk. On production deployments we may use Vercel Analytics to measure page views and basic usage patterns. Vercel Analytics is designed to be privacy-oriented; refer to Vercel's documentation for how they process data. Optional third-party analytics (Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity) load only when their corresponding environment variables are configured for a deployment. If those variables are not set, those scripts are not loaded. Analytics data is used to improve performance, content, and usability — not to sell personal profiles.

Google Analytics

We may enable Google Analytics (GA4) to measure traffic, referrals, and engagement. GA4 is optional. It loads only when Google Analytics is configured for a given deployment. If it is not configured, Google Analytics is not loaded and does not collect data from ToolsArk. When GA4 is active, Google may set cookies or use similar identifiers and process usage data according to Google's privacy policies. We use Google Analytics only to understand how visitors use ToolsArk and to improve the service. You can learn more in Google's documentation on Analytics and advertising controls, and you may use browser or OS privacy settings to limit tracking where available.

Microsoft Clarity

We may enable Microsoft Clarity to understand usability issues through session metrics and, where enabled by Clarity, aggregated heatmaps or session recordings. Clarity is optional. It loads only when Microsoft Clarity is configured for a given deployment. If it is not configured, Clarity is not loaded. When Clarity is active, it may use cookies and process interaction data (such as clicks and scrolling). We use Clarity to fix UX problems — not to identify you personally. Google Search Console

We may use Google Search Console to monitor indexing, search performance, and technical SEO issues for ToolsArk. Search Console is an operator tool for the website, not a consumer-facing tracker embedded for advertising. Ownership verification may use a DNS record or an HTML meta tag on our pages. Search Console processes site ownership verification data and aggregate search analytics provided by Google.

Future Google AdSense usage

ToolsArk may display advertisements through Google AdSense in the future to support free access to utilities. If AdSense is enabled: • Google and its partners may use cookies or similar technologies to show ads, measure ad performance, and (where permitted) personalize ads • Third parties may collect or receive information about your visits to this and other sites • We will keep this Privacy Policy updated to reflect when ads are active You can manage ad personalization through Google's ad settings where available. Until AdSense is enabled on ToolsArk, ads described here are not shown.

Third-party services

Depending on configuration, ToolsArk may rely on: • Vercel — hosting, edge delivery, and optional Vercel Analytics • Resend — transactional email delivery for contact form messages (when configured) • Google Analytics — traffic measurement (when configured) • Microsoft Clarity — UX analytics (when configured) • Google Search Console — search indexing and performance monitoring • Google AdSense — advertising (if/when enabled) Each provider processes data under its own terms and privacy policy. We only enable services that support operating, securing, measuring, or funding the site.

Data retention

• Browser-local utility inputs: retained only in your browser session or local device storage as needed for the tool to work; we do not keep copies of that content for client-side tools • Contact messages: retained as long as needed to respond and for reasonable operational records, then deleted or archived according to our operational practice • Analytics and advertising provider data: retained according to each provider's retention settings and policies We do not operate user accounts, so there is no account profile database to retain.

Children’s privacy

ToolsArk is not directed at children under 13 (or the equivalent minimum age in your jurisdiction). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided personal information through the contact form, contact us and we will take reasonable steps to delete it.

Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy as the product, legal requirements, or third-party services change. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page will change when we publish revisions. Continued use of ToolsArk after an update means you accept the revised policy.
