About AI Tools
AI Tools on ToolsArk helps you prepare text for AI workflows — without calling an external LLM from ToolsArk itself. Live utilities are Prompt Generator (local templates that structure your brief for assistants like ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Cursor, or GitHub Copilot) and Text Summarizer (extractive summarization that selects sentences from your source text).
Useful when you want a clearer prompt before pasting into another product, or a shorter reading of a long article using sentences that already appear in the source.
When to use which tool
- Prompt Generator — you know the goal and constraints and want a structured instruction block to paste into an external assistant. It formats and expands what you supply with local templates; it is not an LLM API.
- Text Summarizer — you have long prose and want a shorter extract made from the most important sentences already in the text. It does not call a generative model to invent new wording.
- Need word/character counts only? Use Word Counter under Text Tools. Need JSON cleanup before prompting? Use JSON Formatter.
Common use cases
- Draft a coding-agent prompt with stack, constraints, and references before opening Cursor or Copilot.
- Tighten a ChatGPT brief with Make sharper / Make shorter / Add detail (still template-based in the browser).
- Extract a readable summary from a long meeting transcript you pasted as plain text.
- Produce a shorter version of an article for personal review while keeping original sentences.
Privacy & processing
Prompt generation and extractive summarization run in your browser. ToolsArk does not upload your prompt inputs or source text to an external AI API for these live tools, and it does not require an API key.
When you copy a prompt into ChatGPT, Claude, or another service, that paste is governed by that product’s policies — not by ToolsArk’s local processing step.
Limitations
- Prompt Generator does not invent facts about your project beyond the templates and fields you fill in.
- Text Summarizer is extractive — it will not paraphrase like a generative model, and quality depends on clear sentence boundaries in the source.
- Large pasted documents may take a moment and are still bounded by browser performance.
- These tools are not a hosted chatbot and do not replace the AI product you paste into afterward.
Tips
- Fill Advanced fields (context, audience, constraints) when the default prompt feels too thin.
- Run Word Counter if you need a length check before summarizing or prompting.
- Text Tools — Word Counter and formatters
