How does PDF Merge work?
Add two or more PDF files, put them in the order you want, then merge. ToolsArk copies every page into a new PDF using pdf-lib in your browser. Page size, text, and image quality of each page are preserved.
Do my PDFs leave my device?
No. All processing happens in your browser. ToolsArk does not upload your files to a server or call an external conversion API.
Can I change the order of files?
Yes. Drag a file by its handle, or use the Up and Down buttons. The merged PDF follows the list from top to bottom.
Why did a file fail to load?
The file may not be a PDF, may be empty, larger than the size limit, password-protected, or corrupted. Remove it and try a valid, unencrypted PDF.
What is the output filename?
The download is named merged.pdf. Open it in any PDF reader. PDF Split is listed as a related tool when you need to extract pages afterward.
